Ray Solis & Spectrum ~ Variety Dance Band ~ Port Arthur, TX

Ray Solis & Spectrum is a variety dance band in Jefferson County, Texas. 'The Pompano Club' in Port Neches, TX, has been our venue of performance for thirty-seven years, thirty-five years - five nights per week. Starting 2008 performing only on Fridays, and Saturdays. We performed throughout SE Texas and SW Louisiana for over 48 years. Our specialty is Adult Contemporary, Easy Listening, Golden Oldies, Latin, Country, Blues, Rock 'n Roll, Tex-Mex . . . a genre-must for a dance band. We are available for dances, parties, shows, and all type receptions. "Spectrum" consists of Louis Solis, Brad Fells, Richard Cantu and Derryl Stutes, all long standing members and proven musicians.

Ray, BMI songwriter, under his publishing company, SOLISTX, produced 'Spectrum Magic' in October 2000 and Christmas Magic' in 2001. All songs are Ray's original compositions. They can be purchased at CDBaby and Bathtub Music.

Oregon Catholic Press Publications in 2002 published 'Cantamos Con El Corazon' and 'We Sing This Gift To You' and off the Christmas Magic CD.

Ray & Spectrum have shared the stage with Janis Joplin, Bob & Dolores Hope, Al Hirt, Marty Robbins, The Lettermen, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Winter, Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, Johnny Gimble, 'Gatemouth' Brown, Benny Barnes, 'Frogman' Henry, Johnny Preston, Jivin' Gene Bourgeois, Phil Melancon 'Da Man' at The Bombay Room in New Orleans and others.
